In the third quarter of 2025, the Android platform in Europe witnessed intriguing trends in the tower defense game category. Here’s a closer look at the performance metrics for the top five games, based on Sensor Tower data.

TDS - Tower Destiny Survive from SayGames Ltd showed a significant upward trajectory in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads peaked at approximately 243K in late August, while active users reached 801K in early September. Revenue also increased steadily, peaking at around $17K in early September.

Plants vs. Zombies™ by Electronic Arts maintained a consistent performance throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads hovered around 106K by the end of September, with active users peaking at 1.1M in mid-September. Revenue was stable, averaging around $1.3K weekly.

Rush Royale: Tower Defense TD from MYGAMES MENA FZ LLC saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at 81K in early August. Revenue reached a high of approximately $110K at the end of September. Active users remained robust, averaging around 400K throughout the quarter.

Plants vs Zombies™ 2, another title from Electronic Arts, experienced a stable quarter with weekly downloads peaking at 56K in early August. Active users surged to 773K by early September. Revenue showed a slight decline but remained around $10K at quarter’s end.

Cell Survivor by Yelo Hood, a newer entry in the market, saw a sharp increase in downloads, reaching 138K in early September. Active users also rose significantly to 213K by mid-September, while revenue climbed to about $9K at the end of the quarter.
